New Eyes, New Look

If asked what Cybertown is, what would be your response? Would you say: "It is a place to chat and meet people." or perhaps "Cybertown is a massive online community for people to share ideas and aspirations." Could your answer be something like one of those?
The truth is, CT is all of these things rolled up into one. There is a great sense of community here, along with friendly people giving other people a chance without knowing, who they are, where there from, what there nationality is, or if they're some sort of delusional person. The fact of the matter is, CT is a place where everyone is equal, you may have more CCs or you may be higher up on the EXP ranking, but the truth still remains, that all are the same.
CT is a great idea, full of exciting possibilities, stocked to the rim with imaginative continuity. Where will it be at five years from now? Who knows! But one thing is for certain, the people of CT will not just stand idly by and watch many days, months, or even years flushed down the drain because of the real world economy. It is true that I am brand new to CT, as a matter of fact, I just joined in the month of January 2003, but I still see something within this community. I see a hope, I see dreams, I see people wanting to do something other than live their real world lives that sometimes can get overbearing, and otherwise just plain intolerable.
Upon entering Cybertown, I was greeted with a smile, given a job, told where to go for certain events and other various things. I also met a great group of people so that friendship in the future seems like an almost certainty. I also went to my first live event, the VDrome Ball II, where I won nearly 20,000cc’s for answering movie questions, (that was a blast). I am definitely glad to be a part of this great community, and I am looking forward to my future within CT. I am sure that most of you will agree with me when I say that CT is a great place to be, it is a great place to live, and the people are what make all this possible!
