CYBERTOWN FEATURED ON EARTH RADIO On 7 June an Earth radio station, WALE 990 AM, hosted a show on "Internet Trends 2000 and Beyond". The host was star_shimmer, a Cybertown resident, who interviewed Lydia, the Colony Leader of Games. Here are the comments of the host, star_shimmer: "The show went great! We talked all about Cybertown: about the different levels, colonies, neighborhoods, and blocks, that the town's economy-based, that you can get a 3 D home and avatar, the clubs available, the voice software, the fact that you can actually go swimming, ride the rides etc., the shopping mall! and, of course, the news :) We also did a live interactive type promo where we asked people if they were able to get online and near their computer to log on and immigrate! We broadcast Cybertown's URL over and over during the show and talked about how amazing and fun 3D VRML is. We also discussed how Cybertown is a clean, family-oriented site, about the activities for teens, etc., among many other things."
