CYBERTOWN'S SECURITY Here are some words worth repeating from ALASKALAB, our respected Chief of Security, featured in VIRT's Profile of the Month (September).

VIRT : How do you balance between letting people have a good time, yet still keep the discourse non-offensive?

ALASKALAB : Well, to be honest, sometimes there is a gray area due to the many cultures that make up Cybertown. However, if everyone reads the constitution of Cybertown, then there should be no problem for anyone understanding what is acceptable and not acceptable. We try to always give a warning or two to a person who has crossed the line in behavior. However, sometimes when the behavior is completely and obviously a serious rules violation, we will not hesitate to remove the person even before a warning is given. The person is then booted and excluded from the city for a couple of days and a warning letter is sent. The citizen's BL, NL and CL will be notified of their actions. We will never be able to make everyone happy, but as long as the citizens and all of us follow the rules, then that's all that matters. No matter where you are in life, you cannot make everyone happy.
