That is the definition in Webster's Dictionary for what those of us here at Cybertown call our avatar. While I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a god come down to Cybertown looking for the perfect avatar to represent myself, I have spent a fair amount of time looking for an avatar I liked.
Every time I've seen an unusual avatar in Cybertown I've been first in line asking, "Who made it or where did you get that neat av?". While we were all given a pretty good choice of avatars in the beginning, it's human nature to want to look different from others around you, to stand out in a crowd.
Let's face it, with a population reaching the 300,000 mark it takes some creativity to stand out in a crowd!
Well, thanks to blaxxun the problem is solved. You can now purchase blaxxun's Avatar Studio for under 20 dollars and be creative to your heart's content! I purchased Avatar Studio myself as soon as it became available and I'm really impressed with it.
The software offers you so much versatility it's hard to know where to begin in describing what you can do with it. Below is a brief description from blaxxun themselves:
"In the past you could only choose from a pre-defined set of avatars. I downloaded the evaluation version first (which offers you all functions except the ability to upload it to Cybertown) to see if I liked it.

If you're a female you are going to love all the clothes and colors you can choose from. You can be slim and trim without ever going on a diet! One of my avatars is called "Lizard Face" to reflect my bad hair days, lol.
Avatar Studio is super easy to use and makes uploading an avatar to Cybertown a breeze. You can store up to three avatars at a time and switch them whenever you want.
Avatar Studio truly gives you the ability to be distinctive and creative without looking like everyone else. Don't take my word for it though, visit blaxxun's site and try out the evaluation version yourself. I think you'll be impressed too.
