AVATAR STUDIO SHORTCUTS 8 November
There are several shortcuts in using Avatar Studio. Many of the functions are accessible via keys so you don't have to fumble with your mouse all the time.
The following keyboard functions are available:
Keys from 0 to 9 (at the upper part of the keyboard): Launch an animation.
Space bar : Returns the avatar to an upright, standing position. F11 : Make a screen shot; it will be stored in TGA file format in the directory in which you installed Avatar Studio.
F5 : Randomize the settings in a dialog. Up/Down arrow keys : To view the avatar from different angles in a vertical plane.
Left/Right arrow keys : To view the avatar from different angles in a horizontal plane. PageUp/PageDown : To access the "Custom" and "Wardrobe" modes. Home : To go back to the first option on the menu bar. End : Takes you to the last option on the menu bar. Return : Confirms an active dialog. Esc : Cancels an active dialog or quits the program. Keys 2, 4, 6, 8 (numeric keypad): Modify the position of the central animation cursor on two axes.
Keys 7, 9 (numeric keypad): Modify the position of the central animation cursor on the third axis. Tip: You can press a vertical and a horizontal arrow key at the same time. In this way, you can view the avatar from different angles while making it rotate on the podium. Especially nice is the F5 key which changes between different body measurement sets. Avatar Studio FAQs
