CARETAKERS MERITORIOUS AWARD FOR VALUABLE CONTRIBUTION

Those who either attended this past Sunday's briefing or read the log, may be wondering about the new award, the Caretakers Meritorious Award for Valuable Contribution

There have been times when a members contributions to Cybertown have reached the point where they have exceeded all expectations to such a degree that there didn't seem to be an award to show how much we, as Caretakers, recognize their efforts.

For this reason, we created this new award.

The Caretakers Meritorious Award for Valuable Contribution is not quite like any of the other awards or titles that Cybertown bestows upon deserving members. There is no application to fill out. There is no scheduled event or time period in which this is awarded. Naturally, suggestions are acceptable, but we wanted something that we as Caretakers could give out as the highest compliment we could give, without all of the 'red-tape' that sometimes goes along with other forms of recognition.

We're not promising that we'll give this out every 3 or 6 months, or even once a year. But who knows? Perhaps there will be 5 occasions during the year that we wish to recognize someone! Basically, we're not restricting ourselves to either a minimum or maximum number of recognized members each year. Being able to give out this award is very important to us and we want to be able to give it whenever someone comes to our attention as being truly deserving of it.
