THIS represents our 52nd issue of the weekly, marking our 6th consecutive, weekly production of this publication!!!
It is exciting to see consistency and watch the week to weekly ups and downs. You, dear reader, can look forward to seeing some statistics in a future issue.We are still working on archives and are hopeful of having them online soon!
We have a new section,this issue, with the return of our Technology section. Flyby is back with another great interview! Look for yet another perhaps as soon as next week! Oraek has a great view of Cybertown Mall crawling.
We continue our own development, learning and changes here at CVN as the staff changes, and new people continue to apply to our Magazine.It is amazing to us, that so many never reply or even try to follow up on their applications! We are hoping some message board additions, and other methods of contact may soon help that! Do you have suggestions or ideas? Do you like to write? Are you good enough to be published online? YOU certainly can be, (with editing assistance, and willingness from you) Send your e-mail to the Managing Editor if you have suggestions of what you would like to read. We have a Teenz page that continues to hide, languish and shun the light of day in that deep grey area known as development and CVN needs staff for that set of pages. Our colony page is just getting started under lenire and we hope all colonies will come and play. It is delayed as we develop a mirror site for it. We do have additional content this week, and lenire tells us he is working 3 issues ahead! We are looking forward to great communication from that new section of our publication. Our Fun pages are dying for contributions and people to work on it.
We are also beginning to develop our poetry section, and with our December contest are looking forward to lots of poetry! We continue to offer our Christmas contest (closing date for entries IS December 20th, Midnight, CyT!!! And as always we at CVN continue to celebrate, enjoy and treasure our 3D Cyber cipher encounter world of Cybertown . Submit urls, text or docs of your poetic efforts to CVN Christmas Contest! Be sure to list your CT nickname under each entry. Contests are listed at CVN Contests .
Job openings and possibilities are wide open. Anyone who wants to play, learn, grow, and work is welcome! Send us a request for a job, or a job application and one or two contributions to our news organization that we can publish in the Daily News or the Weekly News! Two published stories are required for Cybertown titles and virtual pay (the only kind we can afford!).
