Issue 82 for the week of July 11 hits the cyber news stands!
Today I am here to bring you the News from around the city, to continue to provide, display and encourage the activities, interests and knowledge of our Cytonian population. Let's get on with it!
The Big News, this week is a new Mayor! JJFridge steps up from the Deputy Mayor position to assume the mantle of Mayor! See our story from the Daily News (weekend edition) on our front page.
Additionally Inner Realms is celebrating its anniversary this week, so drop on over to the colony to see what is happening :)
There will be continue to be changes that will benefit all citizens and Cybertown over the long haul. Many Cytonians are working with Hawk to identify potential Sponsors, provide additional ways for those interesting in donating and generally provide future support for our Cybertown ~Civilization of the Future~. The Weekly News continues to be a little thin this week. This editor has joined those buried in summer school classwork, job hunting and providing some support, ideas, and edits for the Cytonian group working on finding long term support for Cybertown.
For this issue of the Weekly: pcfreakske has stories for us. The Writing Zone continues to provide content. Although our Rkgbiolgst has found a task that pays more than ccs, we expect that at least some content will continue, as is possible from the WZ. Our on site poll had 49 votes, including mine ( a no comment). Here are the results :) As a direct result of the poll, we have made a suggestion to the new mayor and have requested teams of reporters for each colony from our cub-reporters and CVN staff.
On the Teens page from 22122, We have three additions this week AND add Global Teens to the page. Other hoods in teens and welcome to join!
CVN at the movies actually has some more content, as Divine_Miss_M moves there!! She says: "Now you have to take me to the movies every week." -Only one story this issue-Scooby Doo, though. We still have a bunch of pages to make, and 8 stories to edit! LOL and we would rather write(grin)! Serious editors with time, interest and ability, who can make at least simple html pages are definitely needed Contact [email protected] .
We moved our CERB article and flash to resources, and hope for more additions there. CVN Biography will continue, and stay up. There may be long delays in content addition there, but the quality of writing is superior. We expect to move it to a new publication now in the planning stages. The music pages are on vacation I think, though we have new stories coming...We have had no response. As you can see we are still providing lots of information and fun reading to Cybertown! Congrats to those few who are writing and sending. YOU are CVN.

Here at CVN we have lots of new activities and pages developing. All the CVN Deputies agreed everyone in management should have their own page or section! As we continue this dynamic experiment in Internet journalism, We hope you look forward to more and varied content, lots of activities and neat contests from around the city.
Our focus is simple: fun, entertainment, good and reasonable content, and the improvement of writing. Our goal is to report the news in Cybertown that does not duplicate the Daily News or would be more appropriate for this magazine format.
Job openings and possibilities are, as always, wide open. Anyone who wants to play, learn, grow, and work is welcome. A request for a job, or application and two contributions to our news organization that we publish in the Daily News or the Weekly News are required for Cybertown titles and virtual pay.(the only kind we can afford!)
