Gadget Quiz
We ran across this one on CNN, and did not do so well. Give it a try and see if you can beat our score of 4.

Star Trek Boldly Goes... Here is a nice article from Yahoo!: J.J. Abrams said, "We were there just trying to shoot a movie, but all around us, these innovative scientists are working on technologies that will likely help the whole world." Abrams said he was intrigued not just by the work being done at NIF to develop renewable, clean energy sources, but at the influence "Trek" had on people's lives. He said, "So many people told us Star Trek inspired them to get involved in science."

The article closes with: "Star Trek Into Darkness" opens on May 17, but come back to Yahoo! Movies on Monday for an entire week of new and exclusive "Trek" content.
A Music Parody: Bohemian Rhapsody
The music is, of course, incredible. The parody is funny and the page has the benefit of having both the parody and Queen's version linked on the same page!! What a delight to watch and compare them both. The parody group: Humor Whores, did an incredible job of both filming and performing: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/syracuse-comedy-group-makes-clever-parody-song-called-142439618.html
Here is the original, official version, by Queen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ9rUzIMcZQ

Browser Use and Navigation
As we experimented browser use with HTML 5, we discovered that Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Slimbrowser work very well. Internet Explorer always asks us to run Active X script, then does a good job once that is approved. Without the Active X script running, the page reformats incorrectly. We suspect that may not be true with newer versions, but IE 8 is the latest edition we can currently use. Anyone using a different browser, we would love to hear from you about your experience browsing our pages.
We Are Recruiting Writers, Graphic Artists, Tech specialists and Collaborators!
Sure, it's a dream! We all have dreams. Everyone wants something and we are no different. We are currently looking for all the free help we can get. Over the years, we have discovered a lot of talented people who never thought they could write, edit, or have the fun of producing web stories people would read. We offer free training and publishing opportunities. We have always recruited. and always will. Unpaid jobs are ALWAYS available. There is always the possibility that we will come up with a project idea that will pay, and participants in such a project would also get paid. So bring your dreams and let's chat! See our "You Can Contact us" section for ways to get in touch. The section is located at the very top in the left column. Once you contact us, we also have Skype and a phone # for possible follow up.

What Are We Going to Write About? There are so many topics and stories in both non-fiction and fiction that appeal to our interests that it is hard to just list them. However here are a few ideas: Perhaps jdb will start blogging on FarmVille, Zynga, and gaming in one blog; An ideas blog could be fun; an activities blog may be the most important for him. For web pages we are considering adding a medical/heath info page, exploring other sites and unrolling and publishing fiction. That covers it for now.
