[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : Two years ago today, we all woke up to the horror of a bombed plaza beyond repair. A year ago, we were in the midst of a paralyzing time warp with no end in sight. Today, we are having a celebration in Cybertown's newest world.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : It won't be the newest for long, however. The ePlex is proud to announce the approval of our newest complex, the Arena - one of the many reasons to thank your Founders today.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : The Arena will be located between the Gallery and the vDrome and will be a huge facility for playing trivia games. Unlike any other complex, this facility is built just for the execution of events, which are at the heart of the ePlex's mission.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : Just beyond the walls of the main Arena Chamber lies a breathtaking view of the city and the rest of the ePlex building from our Sky Lounge. The Lounge will be a place of relaxation before and after events, or anytime you wish to enjoy a very unique view of the city.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : The ePlex will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration for the Arena to thank our builders and supporters as soon as it is launched. Keep an eye on CVN and the ePlex news image for the most up to date information.

[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : First of all, it's the weekend! Second of all, we are about a week away from summer here in the Northern Hemisphere.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : While there is war on Earth, here in Cybertown, people from all over the world, young and old, live, congregate, and play in peace. For this opportunity, we have many people to thank.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : We have some very dedicated, hard-working councilors at the helm of this city's government. We have loyal Caretakers, sleepless Security guards who protect us all and make Cybertown one of the safest harbors on the Internet. We also have kind and generous fellow citizens, and most of all, our Founders; whose dream still lives while they spend their careers behind the scenes, making Cybertown a fun, exciting, and safe place for all of its citizens.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : Without their vision, many of the good people in this city would never have made contact with one another. All of the good and rewarding relationships between coworkers and neighbors of this city would have never existed. Writers from CVN and builders and artists of the World Builders Guild might have been working alone in their spare time.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : There would have been no auctions, or backpack sales. No first time to open a club and hire an aspiring new citizen eager to find their place.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : , no objects from NightWonder, Lanneret, or the other countless, generous, and talented object builders and writers out there.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : On the message boards, there would be no advice or tales of virtual history from GORTz, no cheerful messages from seina, or a whistle blow from Oherra, to name a few. There would be no exploring the beauty of the Neoworld, the Inner Realms Forest, or the shores of Sunset Beach. Just imagine all the fun we would have missed. Think of all the times you have enjoyed.
[E-Plex Chief] Halogen [22710] : I have no doubt that Cybertown has helped some people to grow to more mature, professional, respectful, and skillful in many ways. The bottom line is - our Founders have not only provided a fun place to chat, but they have changed our lives.

It is very hard to put into words the dedication and hard work that Hawk has put into Cybertown over its prosperous existence. He and his team have worked 60+ hours a week to make Cybertown what it is today, a true Civilization for the Virtual Age.
[City Council] Simioni [19596] : I would like to thank SFX too, for he is also a Founder, and an individual that has selflessly put others enjoyment before him. In addition, it is important to mention the Cybertown Staff, and all their hard work that they have put in over the years, without them, then you wouldn't see so many of the wonderful features within Cybertown.
[City Council] Simioni [19596] : As we enter a new year in cyberspace, it is important to recognize what we have all achieved, together. Everyone here in Cybertown makes it what it is, and if we carry on as we are, we can expect many more great things :-)

[City Council] Delphine [20770] : When I first came here, I just wanted to taste a bite of the pie. It tasted good, and I liked the company at the table. The talk was pleasant and encouraging, so I came back the next day, and many days after that, for almost three years now.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : On the days when I could not come to have my pie here, I was left with a feeling of staying hungry and missing some nourishment that I could not find anywhere else.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : The recipe for the pie is genuine American but international at the same time without being ethnic. This pie satisfies many different tastes, it is filling and satisfying and most of the time, easy to digest.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : On certain days in the past I was greedy enough to heap my plate full of this delicious pie. Of course I had to pay for that and reduce the helpings again so that I can enjoy the pie without the help of antacids.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : On other days I felt like going on a diet for a while, but then again, I have never done well with diets and after a few days I was back at the table, enjoying the pie without regrets.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : Like many others I was allowed to add bits and pieces to the recipe of the pie. I hope those were improvements that pleased the general taste.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : As with any dish, it is not possible to make everybody happy...some like this seasoning, some prefer another. The generosity of the Chief, to allow many to prepare that pie for the community, certainly bears risks, but also chances. Under his supervision, the benefits have prevailed.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : It is a thrill to see how many creative ideas are involved in preparing this pie, from a very solid and tasty crust of chatting with friends and strangers, to the many features of information and exchange in form of messages, postings, design, finally crowned by the wonderful decorations of VRML designers who make this pie a work of art.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : The ingredients that were added over the years have helped to make this pie outstanding among other pies. There is no second one like it. We all noticed that painfully when about a year ago, the delivery stopped. Let's hope that this never happens again.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : A big thank you to the chief and his team of cooks who supervise the kitchen and instruct all the kitchen aids and apprentices as to the proper way of cooking pie, but also leaving them much room for creative innovations.
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : Thank you Hawk, Red5, SFX, Jack for keeping the kitchen clean, the oven at good baking temperature, reminding us to hide the knifes that might cut the wee ones, and for providing the basic recipe.+
[City Council] Delphine [20770] : Thank you for spending all this time in the kitchen, cleaning up after the ones who left the kitchen in a mess, and for providing the kitchen for all of us so that we can cook and bake and eat and enjoy!

I was in search of some kinda salvation or distraction from my every day problems. I figured that CT was just another chat community, boring as excite or MSN, but I found I was wrong. CT is MUCH more than that. It is a great place to make friends and learn new things. I love CT!
