The Salz-Socke Wedding
To have and to hold for the duration of your cyber life....
Last week another virtual wedding was celebrated in Cybertown. Here are some wonderful wedding pictures taken by cym during the ceremony and the reception. ( *To return to the Daily News after visting the link, right click and select "Back" )
Socke and Salz met in real life in the newsroom where Salz is employed. She introduced him to Cybertown and obviously convinced him of the value of having a cyberlife.
Their Block Leader, cym, performed the cyber nuptials in the presence of the avatars of their many friends. Cym is also the creator of the Wedding Hall (SciFi Colony/Aliens/Taelon) in town where the event was held.
Quotes from the ceremony: "Dear friends we are here together to celebrate this special event tonight. Two of our citizens will get together for their cyberlife. They will share their lives in [Cybertown] for as long as they want to stay married. They will share their money and their big house will get filled with frilly curtains."
As Socke said after the wedding, "I know that I wanna live together with Salz until computers are breaking down (new year`s eve 2000?) and that`s all what`s counting."
