Real Items Auctioned for CityCash

Saturday night, November 8th, 2003 Cybertown saw one of the greatest events ever to take place in the 9th Dimensions colony plaza. It was a most monumental undertaking calling on many members of the colony to support the event. The attendance at the event was overwhelming. The event was called "Fantasy Jewelry" and Glonan donated her own real handcrafted jewelry items to be auctioned off for CityCash to raise funds for the colony. All proceeds benefited the colony and the event raised a very large amount for the 9th Dimension.
Just watching the event was entertaining as citizens battled for some exquisite jewelry. At times the auctioneer couldn't keep up with the bidding and had to sit back and let the combatants fight it out until they reached their limit. It was some of the most enthusiastic bidding at any auction I have ever seen! Many items pushed upwards of one million cc's, personally I thought it was breathtaking to watch so many people committed to supporting the 9th Dimension and I was simply in awe!
The 9th Dimension thanks all of those who attended for taking part in the event and donating to a good cause. The 9th Dimension also gratefully thanks Glonan for donating her time and resources in support of the colony as a whole. Thanks is also graciously given to all those who donated their time and efforts to make this event possible.
Glonan will also be recognized by being the first to receive the citizen of the month award in the 9th Dimension sponsored by our newsletter staff. Along with this will come 10k and recognition in our colony newsletter. Our hats are off to Glonan for her wonderful achievement and contribution to the 9th Dimension!
