I Wuz Robbed!?

jdb_educator for CVN

CVN recently discovered that at least some new members to Cybertown have been underpaid. They appear to be getting only 80 ccs at start up, rather than the 1000 they should be getting. Sensing a breaking news story CVN jumped into action. Here is the development, results and solutions to this story. LOL If you just want the solution: Mail [email protected] help will be available possibly deposit to your account. Be honest, don't use extra accounts to get extra funds. (We don't even know if this is possible, but remain suspicious and eager to protect the value of our hard earned ccs!).

ebbors started the ball rolling and wrote us with the following story:

"jdb, why are all the new immigrants only getting 80 cc's now.... I know someone else that immigrated and only got 80 cc's.... That's not even enough for a cheap house....gesh, they wont be able to have any fun like that....can you dig into it please...."

We responded in our usual CVN fashion:

....80ccs. hmm

Must be the economic slump! Perhaps we underwent devaluation and the cc is worth more than the US Dollar! I'll contact my bank as well!!!!!!!

Seriously now, ebbors, your point is well taken! CVN is investigating! (Semi-seriously) We will spend billions of ccs (well a couple of hundred anyway) and put Wovencroft, Investigative reporter on this story of Cybertown poverty, if we have to do so!!!

jdb :)

Our star investigative reporter, Wovencroft, prepared himself:

<-- puts on grey fedora with Hawk feather in band. Slips into equally grey trenchcoat, checks tape recorder, 38 S&W and heads out door.

Throughout this investigation we tromped on toes, broke fingers, legs, whatever it took to gather the news YOU need! (Ok, we sent ONE email! But it worked!!!)

Vialle told us the following (and posted basic info on the Daily News.)

Cybertown is "aware of this problem and are working on it (expecting a fix next week). Meanwhile, anyone who only gets the 80cc's can contact " us.

On the Daily News she posted the following:

"If you meet up with any newbies who haven't gotten the normal deposit of 1,000 when they signed up, send them to [email protected] and help will deposit what they've missed out on."
