MALL OF THE MILLENIUM?

As of 22 April there’s a new mall in town . Why do we need a new mall? I asked 008, the Mall Manager. This was the answer I received: “Yes, that is a very good question. The mall would need to grow as soon as anyone could open a shop. With the old mall it would be much more difficult, harder to expand due to the way it was designed.
Even though it said those circles were coming soon, as soon as they were filled for me to open for space would be impossible. Thus leaving to up to Cybertown every time we needed more space there. Therefore they decided to make a more configurable building. With the new one it is much easier to add more space, just add another level. Much simpler than the old mall in many ways.”
Excitement was building amongst the crowd as the new time for the opening of the new mall grew near. “I think it’s very exciting! I can’t wait to check it out!” said Feelings. Though not everyone was dying of anticipation about it. “I don’t know anything about it,” says LilTexann. Those who did know about it thought there were a few things that should be changed. “I think there should be more shops...maybe a food court or something,” according to 9394.
We all know the mall must be busy to need to reform itself. But how busy? One citizen said they go to the mall, “Once a day,” and another said he’d been to the mall 3 times since he’d immigrated, which had been a few hours earlier when I talked to him.
Another thing I discovered as I researched for this article, was that the mall had a webpage, much to my surprise. I was of the minority though, most citizens have seen the page and have some ideas on how to improve it as well. “[There was] not enough explanation. For example, [there wasn’t enough information] about ways to import your own creation,” says Feelings. But this is all in the past now. Let’s look at the mall now.
The mall has under gone a dramatic change. With new floors, a fountain, a store directory, an elevator, a clock, and towers , this new mall is far cry from the old one. Not to mention that it has been made easier to import your own items and add space as 008 said.
What does the public think of it? “Fantastic,” says Sachmeth, a Block Leader; Euphgirl said, "I’m very impressed.” One citizen said, “A little confusing, but still a great change.” So far, I have yet to meet anyone with any arguments. In the opinion of this reporter, this is the mall of the millennium, at least in the cyberworld. ~ Gina_Model_10157
