Many eons ago during the latter half of the 21st century, travelers stretched out their wings seeking new frontiers, having left Earth after the Great War in the hopes that a new start would lead to more peaceful times. Cybertown was built in the latter half of the 21st century and is located in the Omega Quadrant not too far from the galaxy known as the Milky Way.

As time went by, Cybertown began to separate out into distinct regions such as the Cyberhood which became the more rebellious artistic side of town, Old Town which was where the people who missed Earth as they knew it started to congregate, and Beyond Cybertown where the pioneering explorers headed out. Few of them have been heard from since. Recently Cybertown joined forces with what was known as Colony City to become one under the Cybertown name.

My story is about one of the blocks that grew out from the pioneering explorers that headed out and left old Cybertown. Their history and legacy was carefully written and kept by our resident Bard, Doc Stewart. She brought to us The saga of Pointworld. The block Gypsy Jokers was honored when she joined our band of free spirited, adventurous souls, a quest we began from Pointworld. The saga of Gypsy Jokers whispered on the wind.

Whispered on the wind, the wise woman's words invite all to come sit with the gypsies around the campfire. Take sup with us, share some warmed wine, sit yee down to hear my tale, the tale of gypsy vagabonds on a quest.

So begins the tale, where all tales do at the beginning. Within the Pointworld Neighborhood, in one of the outstations called a block, dwelled free spirited, adventurous souls, with just a hint of mystical qualities, from the fey. There were some with imagination.... some with artistry.... some with the gift of gab...(and a few rascals thrown in there too).

These vagabonds had a love of nature and wide open spaces. Hearing tales of magical places far beyond the known cyber maps. Heard one Full Moon night, A soft whispered voice, From beyond the Milky Way. It was an invitation to the free spirited folk. Come follow me to a land of milk and honey..and a tad bit of magic there also...come if you dare.

Hearing such a sweet offer (and there is nothing more tempting to a gypsy's blood then a good dare), off they went on a quest to the outer reaches, seeking the place they had heard of. The place that had Beautiful rivers flowing downwards into clear waterfalls, mountains climbing straight up to the sky, filled with stars that sparkled like diamonds, where they could play in the forest with the little folk should they appear.

So, come if you dare, hear the wise woman's words. Whispered on the wind, inviting all to come sit with the gypsies around the campfire. Take sup with us, share some warmed wine, sit yee down and hear my tale.
