Teenage Minds

This week in TMinds we have a few things going on. We are in the process of having 3 on going contests coming up very shortly. We had our first Meeting since I (blondie) had become NL. And i have to say i went really well. We had talked about a lot of things and most of all we had fun. So be on the lookout for those new contest coming up soon.

CONTESTS for TMinds

Ok as i promised 2 out of the 3 contests have started. Contest number 1 being Block Naming Contest for TM Residents has started our very own ND Athena_uk is in charge of it. We are taking two of the blocks that we just closed and renaming them. We want people to come up with the next new names for them. We want them Music related names. And whichever 2 names are choosen by myself will be awarded with an prize amount of CC's. So if you should have any questions about this contest just ask our very own Athena_uk .

The 2nd contest has just started. It is run by myself. It is called Search Factor. I have had special objects made up for this event. I would like to thank UKChap for making these objects for me they turned out wonderful. Anyway the contest has just started on Nov. 1st 2002 and will run the duration of 3 weeks. Teen Parents

It is or appears to be the only club of its kind available in Cybertown for teen parents. We all know that there are a lot of teen moms and dads, we have several in Cybertown. Cybertown gives them the chance to live life away from the stress of teen parenting. We interviewed the club owner, Tristans_Mommy :

1. What are your goals and plans for the club? My main goal for my new club, Teen Parents, is to educate some of the teen moms and dads a little bit more about parenting in general and maybe help them in times of confusion and trouble. Being a teen parent isn't easy and some of the teenagers that come to Cybertown do so to "get away" from the stressful life of being a young mother or father.

2. What club activities do you have in mind?

Some club activities that I have in mind include fun stuff, like strange baby name contests, "Getting Away" parties and small informative courses about parenting.

3. Are there any meetings?

So far Teen Parents hasn't had any official meetings, we are still building up our member list and hiring club assistants to help advertise the club. Once we are done hiring and maybe even voting for offices, regularly scheduled meeting will be considered.

4. What would you like to say to CVN readers?

I would like to tell all the CVN reader that Cybertown is a wonderful place to go and leave your worries behind. Our new club, Teen Parents, is a place for those teenagers who are "getting away" for awhile to learn more about their new role as parents, meet other teen parents and just have fun. I encourage EVERYONE to join and learn everything there is to learn about teen parents. (:

Global Teens News

Global Teens Neighborhood Party

There is going to be a Global Teens Neighborhood

Party in Oraek's house (Teens Colony-Global

Teens-Caribbean Islands-"In The End") on Saturday,

November 2, 2002 at 8:00 P.M. CyT Time. All

citizens of CyberTown are welcome and encouraged

to attend the party! There will be games and

prizes. Prizes will be given out for "Best Av" and

also prizes for winners of a trivia contest. A

total of 50,000cc in prizes will be given away! Be

there!!!

Global Teens, will be having drawings at random times each month for 30,000cc. To win, you have to live in the neighborhood. The description is as below:

Global Teens will introduce a new event beginning next week. This new event involves awarding prize money to the lucky person on the spot drawn at random. The prize is 30,000cc that we will give out at random times each month. The way the drawing works is letters A-F (representing columns in a hood) will be placed into a hat, and numbers (representing rows in a hood) will be placed in another hat. The numbers and letters will then be pulled to determine what block the winner is on. Then, similarly, letters and numbers representing columns and rows for chosen block will be placed into different hats and drawn to determine the winner. Second place awards of 1,000cc will be given to all residents that are directly adjacent to the winner. The real trick here is that you must be active to win. If you do not claim your prize within 24 hours, we will draw a different winner. Where you put your house could make you a winner! Sorry, hood staff are not eligible to win. Global Teens Neighborhood is located in Teens Colony. Good Luck!!!
