CVN And VNN/CBN Join Forces

Long time Cybertown citizen zoundite made a proposal to CVN, that just could not be refused. The proposal offered opportunities for more writers, editors, graphic artists, coders etc... He suggested to CVN "I have always toyed with creating VNN (Virtual News Network). It would be a news network of combined efforts." He explained it in several e-mails ranging over many issues, and it was discussed in some detail. The basic ideas of competition or cooperation, format, editing, access, availability , source citing were just some of the issues. Both CVN Editor jdb_educator and zoundite agreed that cooperation offered the greatest possibility of getting Cybertown news and citizen writings to all our citizens in Cybertown. "The idea of a competitive game was also discussed. In response to that zoundite made the following suggestion:
" Why not make a child that could keep its parents together? " Zoundite then explained his concept.
"First off, CBN Virtual News is now called VNN (Virtual News Network). The idea is to allow CVN, CBN Virtual News, and others to contribute to VNN. If you own a private or public newsletter, feel free to have your staff join VNN. All news stories are allowed to be used by members for publishing as long as you cite VNN." CVN Editor adds, "Each publication used needs to be cited (listed) and it would be nice if the web location was added too. " The idea developed, and the child was born. No, parenthood roles were NOT discussed! CVN hopes this will lead others to try to create and learn the online publishing business of news letters. "Everyone currently in Cybertown IS a writer," stated jdb_educator. "The current chats are based on writing" he explained. " It is just that many of our citizens do not think of it as writing," jdb_educator chuckled.
