"A Look into the world of music"

As I am writing this article, I am listening to a musical piece called " English Dances" , by composer Malcolm Arnold. Malcolm Arnold was born on October 21st, 1921.
In 1942 Malcolm Arnold became principal trumpet for the London Philharmonic Orchestra. In later years he composed over 80 musical scores for just about every known type of ensemble. His music includes the musical score for the movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai", which in turn earned him an Oscar. Malcolm Arnold writes very unique music indeed, and I should know as I have to play his musical piece "English Dances" with my high school's wind ensemble. For all you traditional music lovers, I suggest you get a CD filled with his music. It will spark imagination for many of you and at times will make you want to dance or "sing". (I gasp at the thought of singing.)
