WORLDCON WRAP-UP For fans of Virtual Reality, the recent World Science Fiction Convention was a must attend. Throughout the six day event the cooperative and social nature of VR was exemplified further illustrating how it enables people from all over to work together. Among the exciting events that occurred during the past week's Worldcon were:

Cybertown Founder Hawk was interviewed on web radio, WVRR, on 3 September, which was broadcast throughout ActiveWorlds and OuterWorlds. And Cybertown's radio commercial was the radio station listeners favorite of Worldcon VR commercials!

The SETI Institute's Dr. Seth Shostak visited Cybertown with his custom avatar (created using the soon-to-be-released Cybertown Avatar Maker) and entertained the community with his alien insights during an extended Q&A period in City Hall. The detailed article on this event may be found in the Recent Headlines section of the News.
